A completely sustainable solution was sought by the Kingcombe Trust to heat one their residential 12 bedroom/bathroom centres. We specified a log gasification boiler as the primary heat source using local wood. A pellet boiler provides an automated back-up heat source together with a 6 panel solar thermal unit making full use of the sunshine to provide domestic hot water in their high occupancy periods during the summer. close
